Thousands of firefighters and other emergency responders were involved in the events of September 11th. Our charity wants to give all the families of the emergency responders who were lost in the line of duty a time to relax and take a vacation. We have invited 409 families of the New York firefighters, EMS workers, police, and port authority to Southern California and we need your help to make it happen.

What we are asking for:

  • Cash Donations
  • Hotel Lodging
  • Roundtrip Airfare For An Average Family of Four
  • Donations of Frequent Flyer Miles
  • Ground Transportation of All Types Restaurant Gift Certificates
  • Entertainment Tickets For Sporting Events, Concerts, Museums, Amusement and Theme Parks, Special Events
  • Volunteers to Assist in Weekly Receptions and Other Functions

Update

Thanks to the generous donations from many individuals and companies we have started inviting the first group of families and they will be arriving in June. Our largest response has been from Southern California companies who have donated lodging and activities for most of the families. Currently, our largest hurdle is transportation. While the airlines have pledged to give us a discount we still need the funds to purchase tickets to fly the families out. We are most in need of cash donations and frequent flyer miles, however we are still in need of all types of donations.

We send out our deepest gratitude to the individuals and companies who donated their resources thus far.
